Business Week Features IMC USA

IMC USA is highlighted in the October 16, 2006 issue of Business Week. An article about consulting as an alternative to retirement features Mike Grimshaw and Tom Northup, both CMCs, discussing how they made the transition from corporate life to a successful consulting career. This issue also includes a letter to the editor by Mark Haas, IMC USA Board Chair, commenting on the value of certification. The letter, "Is Your Management Consultant Certified?" is a response to Jack Welch's column that implied that competent consultants were difficult to find and manage.

IMC USA Creates the Oak Tree Fund to Promote Community Service

Management consultants can bring tremendous value to the management and operations of nonprofits in their communities through pro bono activities. IMC created the Oak Tree Fund to encourage IMC USA chapters and members to engage with their communities through management consulting service projects. The Fund is national in scope and supports eligible service projects from all chapters, including formal Oak Tree Projects.
